Melanie B
Meet Mel – the founder, organiser-in-chief, and all-around party queen behind The Party Cart! You’ll usually find Mel behind the scenes in the planning process, but don’t be surprised if you see her on-site making event magic happen! Mel loves to be out and about making sure every event runs to perfection, setting up an incredible balloon display or running your photo booth!
Originally from the UK, Mel now calls Australia home, sharing life’s adventures with her two wonderful (and also party crazy!) little girls, Sophie & Charlotte. Mel leads a busy life and when she’s not creating unforgettable celebrations, you’ll find her chasing live music, planning her next travel adventure, or making amazing memories with her mini sidekicks.
Kirstin
With 4 years of hands-on experience as an event attendant with The Party Cart, Kirstin brings reliability, energy, and a strong sense of organization to every event she does. Known for her attention to detail and calm under pressure, she plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations on the preparation side of events and on to creating positive guest experiences.
Originally from New Zealand, Kirstin has called Australia home for over 15 years. Balancing her professional life with the demands of raising two active boys, Kirstin thrives in fast-paced environments—both at work and at home. Her ability to juggle responsibilities with a smile makes her a valued team member and a natural problem-solver in dynamic settings.
Kate
Kate has been with The Party Cart for 5 years, since she was just 17 years old! Her first job stepping into the adult world! She holds a Diploma of Event Management and now works full-time as an Event Manager whilst remaining with The Party Cart on weekends and evenings.
A Brisbane local through and through, Kate loves being part of a team that brings joy to people’s special moments. Her favourite part of the job is seeing everyone’s face light up when they get a great photo booth shot, and hearing the laughter shared between family and friends.
When she’s not working (or fangirling over K-pop or WWE), she’s usually planning her next adventure—travel is one of her greatest passions.
Mollie
Mollie has been with The Party Cart team since 2023. She loves getting involved in the events she attends, bringing a calm and cheerful energy that helps make every event feel like more of a breeze—and a whole lot more fun! Whether she’s setting up to capture fun moments in the photo booth or creating a magnificent balloon display, Mollie is all about creating stress-free, joy-filled experiences for clients and guests alike.
Outside of work, she enjoys living a busy life full of new experiences and running around after her gorgeous 2-year-old, who keeps her on her toes.
Melanie O
Mel has been a member of the Party Cart team for over 5 years and has taken on many roles throughout her time with us. From troubleshooting printers to creating balloon displays, Mel thrives in the behind the scenes part of the event. However, she still enjoys getting out and seeing the Party Cart products in action, as well as the reactions of their clients.
Born and raised in Redcliffe, Mel is now raising her own family in the area while also pursuing a career in the design industry. In her small amount of free time, you’ll find her painting, riding bikes, or poorly singing along to Disney classics.
Rosie
Rosie has been with The Party Cart since 2025 and is loving every moment and event – whether it’s a big celebration or a small gathering. Originally from the Northern Territory, Rosie has called Queensland home for over a decade and is a proud mum to Layla and Lucus.
When she’s not helping bring events to life, Rosie is all about creating memories with her family, exploring her creativity as a freelance artist, enjoying bike rides, and baking up something sweet in the kitchen.
Teghan
Teghan has been part of The Party Cart team for 3 years and brings a natural joy and energy to every event she is part of. With a background working with kids and currently studying youth work, she has a soft spot for children’s events and loves watching little faces light up—especially in the Photo Booth!
Newly married and planning on starting a family of her own, Teghan is all about making meaningful memories. When she’s not at events, you’ll find her on the soccer field, either playing or coaching her under 8s team with just as much enthusiasm.
